The Twelve Apostles are a collection of limestone rock stacks jutting from the water
in Port Campbell National Park, between Princetown and Peterborough on the Great
Ocean Road. It only ever had nine stacks and the number continues to decrease as
stacks collapse into the sea. It is the most commercialised sight on the Great ocean
Road with a visitors centre and large carpark with a foot tunnel under the road.
The last time I went it was heavy rain with hailstones (and only May) so be prepared
for variable weather.
