Ave Sol

The churches in the Old City each have a style of their own. Dom or St Mary's Cathedral is the largest church in the Baltics. The Anglican church, St Saviours was built of bricks imported from England. St Peters had the tallest spire in the world when it was first built in 1690. The Russian Orthodox Cathedral was used as a planetarium during the Soviet years. Ave Sol has such good acoustics that it was turned into a concert hall.
