Photographs of Kyoto Botanical Gardens

Kyoto Botanical Garden was very quiet (it was a weekday in June and it was cold). The only people around seemed to be Japanese men with cameras and tripods. The gardens were not quite as manicured as some of the temple gardens but probably don't have as many staff. There were some western style flower beds but most of the gardens were the contemplative Japanese style that I like so much.
