Art Deco is an architectural influence that began in Paris in the 1920's and flourished throughout the 1930's. Stripped Classical is a reduced version of the Edwardian Classical style in which classical details were reduced in number and became more bland. The Spanish Mission style originated in the South West States of the USA and was popular in new world countries, especially those with climates similar to California. Examples of all of these styles can be found in Napier.
