You can't go to Amsterdam and not get the feeling that everyone drinks beer. Brown bars are the traditional places, but are difficult to photograph for the web. The Heineken Brewery is now simply a tourist sight, but deliveries by pipe from lorry to bar are a common sight.

The new technology museum by the harbour is interesting architecture and if you can remember your childhood, great fun.

New building continues but it seems to fit in with the bridges and bell towers.
